Scripture (“the App”) is a personal Bible study app built by Cannon Potter. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Information We Collect
- Account information: Your email address and name when you create an account.
- Study data: Journal entries, study plan progress, and verse highlights you create inside the app. This data is stored securely in Supabase and is only accessible to you.
- Payment information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details — Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy.
- Usage data: We track how many AI responses you have used to enforce free-tier limits. We do not sell this data.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the app experience
- To process subscription payments
- To save your personal Bible study notes and progress
- To power AI responses via the Anthropic Claude API (your questions are sent to Anthropic to generate answers; Anthropic’s privacy policy applies)
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored in Supabase, a secure cloud database. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us. Upon request, we will permanently delete your account, journal entries, highlights, and study progress.
Children
This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
